“Joseph Smith studied the letters and grammar of the reformed Egyptian and then, with the help of the Holy Ghost, he translated the writings on the Gold Plates.”
And just to point out, “the characters on the fragments do not match the translation of the Book of Abraham” because they are not the source of the Book of Abrahams text.
